The "Applied Agriculture I" course for 1st year Agricultural Engineering students will provide comprehensive knowledge and skills essential for a career in modern agriculture. The course covers a wide range of topics including agronomy, crop management, animal husbandry, crop protection, farm management, sustainability and advanced agricultural technologies. Through theoretical and practical teaching, students gain knowledge of agricultural production systems, soil science, crop breeding, pest management, animal husbandry, economic analysis, sustainability practices and advanced technologies such as remote sensing and precision farming. The course aims to equip students with the tools to make informed decisions and implement sustainable and efficient agricultural practices in their future careers.
