This course intends to introduce the Architectural project and its different components to 1st year students for architecture. It aims to present a set of themes focused on :
- Forms in Architecture (3 sessions)
- Spaces (5 sessions):
- Spaces (3 sessions)
- Functions (2 sessions)
- Architectural Project (5 sessions)
- Preliminaries processes - Ideas and creation (2 sessions)
- Project and Methodology - Architectural systems and context (2 session)
- Environments, sites and landscapes (1 session)
At the end of the course, students will be able to :
- Understand and enunciate elements of Architectural discourse on forms, spaces and materiality.
- Understand, describe than manipulate Architectural form and processes of Architectural transformation.
- Understand and design underlying elements of Architectural project like spaces, functions and usage.
- Understand basic concepts of material and structure.
- Understand processes of Architectural design processes like idea and its application.
- Understand basics of environmental design.
