Study of Literary Texts (American Literature)

The major aims of this course are:

1. to introduce students to the major literary movements in The United States of America from the Colonial period until the beginning of the twentieth century

2. to familiarize students with the main ideas, motifs,  and stylistic techniques that characterize representative literary works of each period
